Kings of Leon-cancelled

Right here I actually wanted to post photos like this:

but I didn't get to take them, because the sadest "highlight" of my weekend was on sunday evening when I've been told that the concert I've been looking forward for 3 weeks wouldn't take place (I was almost on the way to it!). Due to illness all spain gigs of the great Kings of Leon had been cancelled.
Well guys... although my night was ruined: get well soon and see you on next occasion!

ARCO '09

Much more exciting: the International Contemporary Art Fair ARCO that was taking place at the same time and right in front of the pavilions of SIMM. So I just needed to make one step to enter into the place where 240 galeries from 32 countries brought the best paintings, sculpture, installations, photography, video, drawing and prints....incredible! Here are some of my favorite works:

SIMM '09

After a long time without posting I'm back with news about a weekend full of highlights! First I brought you some impressions from the SIMM, Madrids Fashion Week with more than 500 exhibitors, 1000 brands from 17 countries.

It was interesting to see the variety of styles and clothes, from current trends over natural textiles up to leatherwear. But frankly... there were only FEW things that I found really special and inspiring.

Wintercase festival

As I couldn't go to the Summercase, I took the chance and joined the Wintercase concerts that took place this weekend in a really nice location, the sala "Joy Eslava", an old, small theater that's now used for concerts and parties. So there we had the perfect atmophere for listening to the band "Cuchillo",

and Scott Matthew".
